The Sri Lakshmi College of Pharmacy, Coimbatore was established in the year of 2024 under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Suresh Kumar M.B.B.S., M.S., FMAS., FAIS., Chairman, Sri Lakshmi Group of Institutions Coimbatore. The main objective of the college is to impart quality education, skills, updated knowledge for budding Pharmacists. Our college having an excellent faculty team dedicated in making this college a Centre of Excellence in Pharmacy Education and Research. At our college the students are expected to have an enriching and life-turning experience that propels them to take advantage of the new opportunities in their life. Our college is having wonderful facility to teach theory and practicals with updated infrastructure. Students in the institute will be trained to convert innovative ideas into attainable and practical models to meet the growing demand of Pharmaceutical Industry and Corporate Hospitals.
During last decade, Pharmaceutical Industry underwent a complete transformation due to liberalization, globalization, emerging GATT era and then India becoming a member of WTO coupled with major shift in Governments economic policy. All these events led to severe competition, demand of high quality standards of drugs and pharmaceuticals, introduction of new generation of drugs, emerging biotechnological methods for the production of extremely efficacious drugs. Therefore our goal is to produce a workforce of pharmaceutical technologists who will be globally acceptable for their technological skills, their quality of work and a habit of hard work.
